In-Laws Coming Over? Erase Your Worries!

I’ve used Mr. Clean Erasers in the past. When I was offered a chance to review their new Febreeze scented erasers by BlogHer, I was excited. Because, oh, did I have some things to erase. With an almost-three-year-old climbing up and down the steps to and from his playroom all day, I had messy hand prints, scuff marks and random points of interest all over my entryway-slash-stairwell.

Let’s just say I took Mr. Clean to task. And, boy, did he ever live up to his task.

I originally used Mr. Clean Erasers back in the day before the scrubbing pad was attached. This really made a difference on the hard-to-scrub spots like deep scuff marks where everyone left their shoes. The scrubbing pad really made a difference in how hard I had to press to get these off and how quickly they disappeared. Sometimes I used the side without the scrubbing pad because I like to kick it old school every now and then. Either way, it worked. And now my entryway-slash-stairwell looks like I gave it a fresh coat of paint! No more hand prints (picture) no more scuff marks (picture). I am ever so pleased.

So is my nose. I’m very (very!) sensitive to smells. The Febreeze scent was not overpowering, nauseating or otherwise unpleasant. It was light and friendly, something I would use in my home even if I wasn’t scrubbing marks off of my wall. I was especially pleased with this aspect!

All in all, I need to remember to buy Mr. Clean Erasers more often than we do so that my entryway-slash-stairwell doesn’t get to the messy state that it was in ever again. Now I can invite my grandmother over without fear of her judging me (on my entryway-slash-stairwell, at least, because unless Mr. Clean makes a magic wand, I’ve got some other cleaning to do!).
