Norton PC Tune Up = WIN!
My laptop turned one last month. I’ve been pretty good at doing normal backups, deletions of unused programs and generally keeping it clean. But computers get clogged now and then. And so when Mom Central asked if I wanted to review Norton’c PC Tune Up, I thought it would be the perfect time to get things running right.
I had to get over some of my personall issues to participate. What do I mean? In order to utilize Norton PC Tune Up, you have to call Norton (toll free) and talk with one of their specialists. I? Don’t talk on the phone, especially with strangers. But, I weighed the pros and cons and called anyway. I also had to call after 9pm (or on a weekend) as we only have cell phones in our home and our minutes are only free at those times. As the PC Tune Up site says it could take a half hour for the full call, I didn’t want to waste my (precious) minutes on a technical call!
Anyway, calling and talking to someone at Norton wasn’t nearly as bad as I imagined. They then remotely connected to my computer (laptop). My technician, whose name escapes me (sorry!), was very helpful and explained things quite well! Some of the things that I was taught were things I already knew how to do but, to be fair, I’m pretty advanced when it comes to computer usage. I’m kind of nerdy in that way. (I mean, remember my huge giveaway?) I did, however, learn a few new tricks and am happy to report that my computer is running better than it has in quite some time! Life is good!
Is your computer sluggish, slow or infuriatingly slow? Go ahead and invest in a Norton PC Tune Up!
OR! Leave a comment on this post! I’m giving away three Tune Up codes to three separate winners. The contest will be open until December 6 at 12:00pm. I will contact the winners by email at that time.
ETA: Congrats to our winners Leah, Chrystal & Amy!

I need this–thanks for the chance!
Dude, if I can’t win a brand spankn’ new computer with the HP Giveaway…then the least I could do is give my little lap top a tune up. Count me in!
We just spent a full week trying to fix our desktop. It stopped wanting to work the right way – shutting programs unexpectedly and giving us virus alerts for viruses that weren’t there! This would be a great tool for us
Oooh. Pick me, pick me. I’ve had a string a bad lack with laptops or computers in general. This would make my fifth laptop within four years!
My husband would love it if I won this.
