What’s this?
To keep our family blog discussions more about family, parenting and the life surrounding the fire family, we’ve decided to launch a separate review blog. And that’s what this is. Here you will find reviews for “stuff.” Some of them will be prompted reviews from the Parent Bloggers Network. Some of them will be book reviews, both children and adult, which started on the family blog. Sometimes I’ll just rant or rave about customer service. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
Who are You? Why are YOU reviewing things?
I’m a twenty-six year old wife, married to a professional fire fighter and paramedic, with two children that we parent everyday (November 05 & November 07). I currently work from home but previously worked in the broadcast communications field. I like stuff. I dislike other stuff. And I always have an opinion. That’s what qualifies me.
Modern Mamma Marvels? M-Cubed? What?
I came up with the name while trying to figure out what to name this place. The easy way out was to say “Stop, Drop and Blog Reviews.” I don’t like the easy way out. Plus, that’s a looooong blog name. I already have long blog names. I wanted something shorter. I’m kind of (read: mostly?) modern. I’m a mamma (and yes, I spell it with two m’s, not one). And I marvel at all kinds of “stuff.” And the name was born. M-Cubed is short hand for, “FireMom is a big ole nerd.”
